The World Wild Life Fund (WWF) was established in 1961 with its headquarter in Switzerland to conserve wild life through­out the world.

The principal functions of WWF are to help and advice:

c. To finance projects for conservation of near-extinct wild life forms and to send experts, if necessary.

d. To arrange seminars and conferences to impress upon the general public the importance of wild life.
